I'm not a lawyer.

But I was a court reporter and a deputy sheriff,

and I have lived 62 years.

It seems people hire lawyers to keep or get there tit out of the wringer.

If a

Lawyer says he can't do that or shows he cant do that people hire another lawyer.

It is obvious they look for loopholes.

I have personally seen many times where they have a guilty client,

And they plead not guilty. They have found a loophole or think they have.

Everyone has seen that.

Look at O.J simpson.

The world could see he was guilty and his lawyers plead not guilty.

They found loopholes and exploited them.

If I was in trouble and had money and my lawyer told me he

didn't look for loopholes.

I would fire him and get one who did.

It is possible that lawyers are not trained for that,

I haven't been to law school.

But the lawyers who were not trained for that or who do not figure it out,

probably end up in some other line of work.

Or end up shuffling papers like a paralegal under someone

who has learned it or has figured it out.

Jesus is God. He is God incarnate.

It is just the way it is.

We live this life and we get to choose whether we accept God's sovereignty over our life or not.

It is not like it was a suprise that Adam and Eve sinned.

It was a plan.

God knows the end from the begining.

You don't have to think it was anything great when you really understand it.

It is just the way it is.

Jesus said in Revelation 22:13 " I am the alpha and the omega, the first and the last, the begining and the end.

That to me means he is God.

The bible is a story to give you the message that you have to accept God/ Jesus in your life to

spend eternity with him.

You can reject it and be atheist and live without God.

Or accept it and have all the blessings.

God made us, and he is not going to let us spend eternity with him

if we do not acknowledge and accept him.

At a certain point it is his way or the highway.

At least that is the message I get from reading the bible.

It sounds like you don't want to live with Jesus.

I voted by mail here in Florida.

It is good to be at peace with onself and others.

I lived and live as fully as my budjet allows.

What I can't afford to do I watch on tv.

Mainly travel

I would like to leave something behind for posterity

but at 62 years it seems kind of unlikely.

I would like to live to 100.

I'll shoot for the stars and maybe end up on the moon.

The only input I have is diet and exercise and to a degree staying out of the way of moving objects.

Going against my goal, I ride a motorcycle from time to time.

To have a free mind, free from illusion,

seems easier said than done.

But a nobel goal.

If anyone ever figures out how to do it.

Please tell us here.

i think this is a hush hush topic among jws but i remember years ago at an assembly i saw two sisters(i am only assuming they were jws they could have been studies or relatives of jws) walking arm and arm like a married couple.

some of the jws looked at them like they had horns.

some of the jws moms were covering their small children's eyes and those two women were stared at like they had the plague.

War now seems to be a way for money to be taken from the masses and given to the few.

This seems to have been going on since the begining of history for the past 5000 years.

When Obama's time is up.

The Bush family, Jeb will get back in office

and start another war.

Then our economy will really suffer.

And who will put him in office? The right wing Christian fundamenalist.

The Bush family and the Christians destroying America and the American economy

is really hard to get my head around.

I can only think they are not real Christians, they are proving false by their actions.

They have a form of Godly devotion but prove false to its power.

The number of real Christians in the world must be far fewer than most people think.

Possibly even fewer than the number of JW's in the world.

I would think real christians do not have a big central organization,

but meet in small groups in peoples homes and store front and small independent churces.

A question for my friends in the USA about cowboys.

as a kid growing up in the uk we used to play 'cowboys and indians' and watch high chaparal and bonanza along with other cowboy films.

later, in the 70's kung fu would be shown with caine going through the 'old west'.

we even had a chocolate bar that was marketed with a 'cowboy' theme...milky bar.. as far as i know the 'wild west' as shown on tvdidn't actually exist.. are there people that believe it did?.

I think cowboys still exist in many forms.

If you go out in the country, farmers are still like cowboys.

They wear cowboy hats, carry guns and herd animals.

In the cities red necks/ hillbillies, are all over they wear cowboy hats and clothes and boots

and listen to country music.

A lot of people ride horses, cowboy hats and boots some places they even wear and carry guns.

Country, hillbilly music is the new rock and roll, since rock and God have died.

One out of every 4 cars in Florida has a gun in it.
